Kun viime kesänä ajoin Italiasta Suomeen, olin tehnyt pienen mitoitusvirheen. Laskin Via Michelinin avulla, että matkan pituus olisi 1600 kilometriä. Sattui kuitenkin pieni moka – Michelin laski matkan maileina ja todellinen ajomatka olikin 2600 kilometriä. Neljä päivää ajamiseen oli aika lailla tiukka aikataulu ja se oli aika pitkä matka ajella ainoana kuskina. Varsinkin kun Saksassa ”nopeusrajoittamattomat” moottoritiet oli merkitty 100 – 130 rajoituksin ja tietöitä oli vähän väliä. Kahdeksan tuntia ajamista päivässä sai pohkeet piukottamaan ja takamuksen puutumaan nopeasti, joten pidin taukoja tiheästi. Näin päivittäinen ajomatka kestikin 10 – 12 tuntia!

 

Tänä kesänä pidin koko lomani Italiassa. Auton vuokraaminen Italiasta tulee pitkillä lomilla kalliiksi. Vaikka päivämaksu olisikin vain 30 euroa, vakuutuksen omavastuun poisto lisää 15 – 20 euroa päivähintaa. Näin kuukauden loman autovuokrat olisivat olleet jo 1350 euroa. Lisäksi luottokortista varataan panttimaksuksi 800 euroa, joka on kiinni autovuokraamolla siihen asti, kunnes palautat auton. Siksi harkitsinkin, että ostaisin mökille auton Italiasta.

 

Ryhdyin selvittämään asiaa. Googlasin netistä autojen osto- ja tuontiohjeet sekä italiankieliset autokauppojen sivut. Löysin Oikotietä vastaavan hakupalvelun ja sieltä hain 500 – 2000 euroa maksavia autoja. Hämmästyin autojen määrää ja tasoa – niitä oli paljon kohtuuhinnalla jopa alle 100 000 kilometrin määrillä ja ihan ”hyviäkin” merkkejä – ei siis vain Alfa Romeoita ja Fiateja.

Seuraavaksi päätin selvittää, millainen auto kannattaisi ostaa ja miten auton voi ostaa, rekisteröidä tai haluttaessa tuoda vaikka Suomeenkin. Pohdin myös välittäjän käyttöä tai itse etsimistä. Etsin tietoa Suomi24:n keskustelupalstoilta, Taloussanomista, tullin kotisivuilta ja muutamista muista lähteistä. Niiden mukaan suomalaiset autokauppiaat tuovat paljon autoja suoraan Italiasta (toiseksi suurin maahantuontimaa Saksan jälkeen) ja jäljet häivytetään vaihtamalla ajotietokoneen ja navigaattorin kieli sekä vaihdetaan paperit, joten alkuperäisiä rekisteriotteita ei tarjota nähtäväksi.

 Auton voi ostaa välittäjältä, autokaupasta tai suoraan yksityiseltä. Päätin jälleen seikkailla ja yrittää koko ostorumban selvittämistä ihan itse. Ja sitten lähdinkin hakemaan vinkkejä sekä kokemuksia toisilta auton ostajilta netistä.

Ensimmäinen saatu vinkki on, että auto tulee mieluiten ostaa autoliikkeestä, jotta paperit tulee tehtyä oikein ja ne ovat luotettavia. Yksityishenkilöiden myymänä on joskus sattunut niin, että myyjä onkin myynyt naapurin auton omin nokkineen. Jos auto on autoliikkeessä toisten autojen keskellä ”jumissa”, se kannattaa koeajaa. Kuluttajalla on tarkistusvelvollisuus ja koeajo kannattaa tehdä. Ostaja ei voi Italiassa vedota virheeseen, joka autossa oli ostohetkellä, jos on laiminlyönyt koeajon.

 

Autoliikkeet eivät ole ahkeria vastaamaan sähköpostikyselyihin englannin kielellä. On vaan parasta mennä paikan päälle ja siellä jututtaa autokauppiasta. Merkkiliikkeestä näyttää löytyvän edullisiakin autoja, joihin saa jopa vuoden takuun. Maksa kauppasumma vasta, kun kaikki on selvää ja saat auton laillisesti omiin nimiisi ja vakuutuksen jolla voit ajaa läpi Euroopan, jos aiot kesän jälkeen tuoda auton Suomeen.

Toinen selvitettävä asia on vakuutus. Liikennevakuutuksen saaminen Italiassa on haastavaa, koska vakuutusyhtiöitä on valtava määrä ja niiden nettisivut ovat italiankielisiä. Asiaa helpottaa, jos kotipaikka on italialaisessa osoitteessa kuten mökillä. Kokeneet ostajat suosittavat auton ajamista Suomeen myyjän vakuutuksilla, jos se onnistuu tai ottamaan vakuutuksen Suomesta. Kun iImoittaa suomalaiselle yhtiölle auton valmistenumeron ja ajankohdan paluumatkalle, niin he tekevät sille liikennevakuutuksen. Siispä nyt lomille lähtiessäni suuntaan ensimmäiseksi nenäni kohti italialaista autokauppaa...

 With the recent summer time from Italy to Finland, I made a small error in the calculating the route. Calculator Via Michelin gave me the distance of 1600. It happened, however, a small mistake - Michelin decreased distance in miles and the actual distance was 2,600 kilometres. Four days driving was quite a tight schedule and it was quite a long way to shave the only driver. Especially when in Germany, "unlimited" highways were marked  with 100 - 130 km/h limits and road works were here and there. Eight hours of driving per day made my calves and buttocks a hard time, even thought I had frequent breaks. Thus the daily drive lasted 10 to 12 hours!

 

This summer, I kept all my vacation in Italy. Renting a car in Italy will be expensive when keeping long during holidays. Although the daily rate would be only 30 euros, the deductible depreciation increases the price additionally from 15 to 20 per day price. This month holiday car rentals for one month  would have been 1350 EUR. In addition, the credit card is reserved for a deposit payment of 800 euros, which is attached to the car rental company until you return your car. Therefore, even considering that I would buy a car from Italy to the cottage.

 

 

I began to investigate the matter. I googled the web for car purchase and import guidelines and the Italian car dealers pages. I found a shortcut to the corresponding search service to and from the shark 500 - 2000 cars costing. Was amazed at the number of vehicles and levels - at a much affordable price even less than 100 000 km of the volume and just "some good" characters - not just the Alfa Romeos and Fiats.

Next, I decided to find out what kind of car would be worth to buy and how to buy a car, register or, if desired, even to Finland. It also discusses the use of an intermediary or a self-searching. I am looking for information about Suomi24 forums, Financial News, the Customs web site and a few other sources. According to them, the Finnish car dealers bring a lot of cars directly from Italy (the second largest after Germany exporting used cars) and erases the traces of replacing the trip computer and navigation, as well as change the language papers, so the original extracts from the Register does not provide to be seen.

Car can be purchased in the retailer, auto shop or from a private. I decided again to venture and try to purchase the entire rumba settlement all by myself. And then I went to get tips and experiences with other online car buyers.

 

The first tip received is that the car should ideally be bought in the shop, so the pages will be done right and they are reliable. Individuals saling cars have sometimes  occurred, so that the seller has sold a neighbor's car without permission... If the car is in the shop in the middle of the other cars "stuckked", it's worth a test-drive. The consumer has the obligation to review and testing should be done. The buyer can not claim an error in Italy, which was in the car at time of purchase, if you have failed a test drive.

 

Car dealerships are not hard-working to meet the e-mail inquiries in English. It is best to not go there and there to talk to the salesperson. Moving up the character appears to be low-cost cars, which may be up to a year warranty. Pay the price to the counter, where everything is clear and you will get it under your own legal name and it is secured and the insurance allows you to drive through Europe, if you are going after the summer to bring a car to Finland.

The second thing is to determine the insurance. The premiums written in Italy is difficult to obtain because the insurance companies are of a huge number and their website is in Italian.  Our experienced buyers recommend you to drive in Finland,  using the seller's insurance, if it is successful, or to take out insurance in Finland. When informing the Finnish company vehicle identification number and the date of the return trip, they make the insurance even in advance. So now, when I left for vacations the direction of my nose  is first towards the Italian car sales ...
